Day 2: Spiritual Exploration in Kathmandu

After a hearty breakfast, you will explore the spiritual heart of Kathmandu. Visit the revered Pashupatinath Temple, Jal Narayan Temple, and other holy places that make Kathmandu a divine city. The day also includes time to finalize your preparations and pack for the onward Kailash Yatra. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Dhunche or Syabrubesi

Start your day with breakfast and head towards Dhunche (2000 m) or Syabrubesi (1600 m) on a scenic 6-6.5 hour drive, covering 130 km to Dhunche and 145 km to Syabrubesi. Nestled in the Himalayan foothills, these towns will be your base for the next leg of the journey. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 4: Drive to Kyirong County

Your journey continues with a 3-hour drive to Kyirong County, crossing the Rasuwagadhi After completing immigration formalities, we ascend to Kyirong, perched at 3950 m above sea level. The drive unveils stunning landscapes that prepare you for the spiritual adventure ahead. Overnight in Kyirong.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Kyirong County
Accommodation: Hotel Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: Acclimatization for Kailash Yatra
Today, you will acclimatize to the high altitudes of Kyirong in preparation for the upcoming Kailash Yatra. You’ll have the day to relax or explore nearby short treks, allowing your body to adjust to the surroundings. Overnight in Kyirong.
Day 6: Drive to Dongba / Saga
Accommodation: Hotel (Xixa Panama, Mu being Chung, or similar) Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: Scenic Drive and Spiritual Landscapes
Begin the day with breakfast and embark on a 7-hour drive to Dongba, covering 335 km. En route, you’ll pass through majestic sites like Thorong La, Paige-Tso Lake, and the Brahmaputra River, immersing you in the natural beauty of Tibet. Overnight at a hotel in Dongba.
Day 7: Dongba to Mansarovar Lake
Accommodation: Guesthouse Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: The Sacred Mansarovar Lake
The day begins early as we drive towards Mansarovar Lake, a journey that takes about 7 hours. Once you arrive, you will complete the Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake by vehicle, taking in breathtaking views of the Holy Lake. This marks your first glimpse of the divine Mount Kailash. Overnight at a guesthouse near Mansarovar.
Day 8: Mansarovar Lake to Darchen
Accommodation: Hotel Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: A Dip in the Holy Lake
Witness the beauty of Mansarovar Lake as you start the day. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the lake’s holy waters and perform puja (prayers), before we drive to Darchen (2 hours away). Darchen serves as the base for the upcoming Kailash Parikrama. Overnight in Darchen.
Day 9: First Day of Parikrama of Mount Kailash
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: The Sacred Trek Begins
Begin your journey towards Mount Kailash, beginning at Yamdwar, the gateway to Kailash. If permitted, we will visit Asthapad, otherwise, we’ll begin the trek towards Dirapuk, covering 10 kilometers. The North Face of Kailash is believed to be the most auspicious sight. Note: Parikrama is optional. Some will trek, some will ride horses, and some may stay at Darchen for the next few days, enjoying views of Kailash. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 10: Second Day of Parikrama
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: Challenging Yet Rewarding Trek
Today, you will trek the most challenging part of the Kailash Parikrama, covering 22 km from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass (18,600 feet) and onward to Zuthulpuk. The ascent to Dolma La Pass is steep but provides the most rewarding views of Shivasthal and Gauri Kund. After the climb, the trek is relatively easier and scenic. Overnight in a lodge or guesthouse at Zuthulpuk.
Day 11: Final Day of Parikrama
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: Completing the Parikrama
Complete the final 8 km trek of the Kailash Parikrama in the morning, then drive back to Darchen to reunite with those who did not participate in the trek. From Darchen, we continue our drive back to Dongba. Overnight at a hotel in Dongba.
Day 12: Drive to Kyirong
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: Reflecting on the Journey
Drive back to Kyirong County, covering 270 km in about 5 hours. This is a more leisurely drive, allowing you to relax and reflect on the profound experiences of the past days. Overnight in Kyirong.
Day 13: Drive Back to Kathmandu
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included Highlights: Return to Kathmandu
Today, drive back to Kathmandu via the Rasuwagadhi border. This is a long journey, covering 265 km in 8–10 hours, but it marks the return to the comforts of the city after a spiritually enriching experience. Overnight in Kathmandu at a Star Hotel (Hotel Vaishali, Manang, or similar).
Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu
Meals: Breakfast included Highlights: Journey Ends
After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in Kathmandu, free to explore or relax until it’s time for your airport transfer. We’ll ensure you reach the airport 1-2 hours before your flight time. End of Journey.
