ITINERARY

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra  2025 For NRI Guest  Ex-Kathmandu- STARTING FROM USD2499 PER PERSON

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

  • Arrival: Arrive in Kathmandu, where you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel.
  • Meal: Dinner at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel – Hotel Tibet, Hotel Arts, or similar.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

  • 08:00 AM: After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple, Shakti Peeth, and Budhanilkantha.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel – Hotel Tibet, Hotel Arts, or similar.
  • Optional: Everest Mountain Flight or Muktinath Tour add-on (4N / 5D).

Day 3: Visit Chandragiri Temple

  • 08:00 AM: After breakfast, drive to Chandragiri (22 km – 1 hour). Visit the Chandragiri Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple.
  • Note: The Chandragiri Cable Car fare is not included.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel – Hotel Tibet, Hotel Arts, or similar.

Day 4: Bhaktapur Sightseeing

  • 08:00 AM: After breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur (15 km – 30 min) to visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Doleshwor Mahadev, and Changu Narayan Temple.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel – Hotel Tibet, Hotel Arts, or similar.

Day 5: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Yatra Briefing

  • 08:00 AM: After breakfast, enjoy a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
  • 04:00 PM: Attend a briefing session about the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Pack and prepare for the journey ahead.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel – Hotel Tibet, Hotel Arts, or similar.

Day 6: Drive to Dhunche, Syabrubesi, or Timure

  • 08:00 AM: Depart from Kathmandu and drive to Dhunche (2000m / 127 km / 6 hrs), Syabrubesi (1600m / 141 km / 7 hrs), or Timure (1983m / 152 km / 8 hrs).
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: Sonam Guest House or similar.

Day 7: Drive to Kyirong (2850m)

  • Morning: Drive to Rasuwagadhi (1800m / 15 km / 45 min from Syabrubesi) or take a 10–15 minute walk to the border from Timure. Complete immigration and customs formalities on both the Nepal and Tibet sides at Rasuwagadhi.
  • After clearance, continue the drive to Kyirong (2850m) – 1 hour / 40 km.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel – Phuntsok Khansang Hotel or similar.

Day 8: Drive to Saga (4550m)

  • 09:00 AM: After breakfast, drive to Saga (220 km – 5-6 hours).
  • As we travel, pass through the rural Tibetan countryside and across the Brahmaputra River.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, and Dinner at Saga.
  • Accommodation: Xibuyizhan Hotel or similar.

Day 9: Drive to Mansarovar Lake (4550m)

  • 08:00 AM: Depart for Mansarovar Lake (450 km – 6-7 hrs).
  • After arriving, perform a Parikrama (circumambulation) of the lake by vehicle (90 km – 3 hrs).
  • Meal: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: Lake Guesthouse.

Day 10: Drive to Darchen (4650m)

  • Morning: Perform Puja (prayer ritual) at Mansarovar Lake.
  • 04:00 PM: Drive to Darchen (35 km – 1 hour).
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: Hotel with attached bathroom.

Day 11: First Day of Outer Kora – Trek to Dirapuk (4860m)

  • 10:00 AM: After a short drive, reach Tarboche and visit Yama Dwar, the starting point for the Kora(circumambulation of Kailash).
  • Begin the 12 km trek (5-6 hours) to Dirapuk (4860m). Visit the North Face of Mt. Kailash.
  • For those not trekking, a return trip to Darchen is possible.
  • Meal: Breakfast at Darchen, Packed Lunch, and Dinner at Dirapuk.
  • Accommodation: Guesthouse.

Day 12: Second Day of Outer Kora – Trek to Zuthulphuk (4670m)

  • 07:00 AM: Begin the 22 km trek (8-9 hours) to Zuthulphuk via Dolma La Pass (5700m / 18,700 ft).
  • Stop at Yamasthal and Shiva-sthal en route.
  • After crossing the pass, the route descends before straightening out.
  • Visit Gauri Kunda (The Pond of Goddess Parvati).
  • Meal: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, and Dinner at Zuthulphuk.
  • Accommodation: Guesthouse.

Day 13: Drive to Saga (4550m)

  • 08:00 AM: After a short trek (8 km – 2-3 hours), meet the coach and drive to Darchen.
  • Merge with other members and drive to Saga (470 km – 7-8 hours).
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: Xibuyizhan Hotel or similar.

Day 14: Drive back to Kyirong (2850m)

  • Morning: After breakfast, drive back to Kyirong (220 km – 5-6 hours).
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel – Phuntsok Khansang Hotel or similar.

Day 15: Drive to Kathmandu (1400m)

  • Morning: Drive from Kyirong to the border (40 km – 1 hour). Complete immigration formalities and continue the journey to Kathmandu (152 km – 7-8 hours).
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel – Hotel Tibet, Hotel Arts, or similar.
  • Evening: Certificate of Completion will be provided.

Day 16: Transfer to Kathmandu Airport

  • Morning: You will be free until your flight departure time.
  • Transfer: Drop-off at the Kathmandu Airport (2 hours before flight time).
  • Meal: Breakfast only.

  • Extra Hotel charge in Kathmandu if early return from Tibet or extra stay at Kathmandu
  • Extra accommodation charges if flight is canceled due to bad weather or delay in Permit /Visa from Tibet (Please make sure your air ticket is flexible to change dates)
  • If pilgrims leave the group early from Tibet side for non-disease reasons then USD 100 per person per day has to be paid as penalty to the Tibet side - T.A.R. Foreign Exchange Center (FEC). Also visa splitting charge, accommodation, transportation charges will be extra
