Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 2025 By Helicopter Ex- Lucknow

Day 01: Arrival at  Lucknow and Transfer to Nepalgunj

  • Pick up from Lucknow and transfer to Nepalgunj.
  • Upon arrival in Nepalgunj, either transfer to a local hotel or proceed to Surkhet, depending on the situation.
  • Meals: Dinner at the Nepalgunj hotel
  • Accommodation: Hotel Sneha or a similar option in Nepalgunj

Day 02: Flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot (2900m) – Overnight in Simikot

  • Early morning flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot (approximately 1 hour).
  • The rest of the day is free for relaxation in Simikot.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Accommodation: New Potala Palace or a similar hotel on a shared basis

Day 03: Helicopter Transfer to Hilsa (3700m) & Drive to Taklakot (3900m) – Overnight in Taklakot

  • Morning helicopter flight to Hilsa (approx. 20 minutes; 12 kg weight limit).
  • Wait for the remaining group members to arrive at Hilsa, as entry to Tibet must be done as a group under the visa policy.
  • After everyone’s arrival, proceed with the drive to Taklakot.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Accommodation: Hotel in Taklakot
  • Afternoon: Drive from Hilsa to the Purang border, and then on to Taklakot (27 km). Along the way, you will pass through up to three checkpoints, where checks may take up to an hour at each post.
  • Overnight stay in Taklakot.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Accommodation: Hotel Himalaya, New Purang, Riverside, or a similar option

Day 04: Rest Day at Taklakot (3900m) – Overnight in Taklakot

  • Full day for acclimatization and relaxation at Taklakot to adjust to the altitude.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Accommodation: Hotel Himalaya, New Purang, Riverside, or similar

Day 05: Drive to Manasarovar Lake (4550m) – Overnight near Manasarovar

  • After breakfast, drive to Manasarovar Lake (95 km). On the way, you’ll pass the first checkpoint, followed by a 70 km drive from Taklakot to Rakshas Tal.
  • At Rakshas Tal, enjoy the first views of Gurla Mandhata Parvat, Mount Kailash, and Manasarovar Lake.
  • Continue the drive for another 25 km to Manasarovar Lake.
  • Begin the Parikrama (circumambulation) of the lake (90 km – about 3 hours by private A/C coach) and perform Puja at the lake.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Accommodation: Lake Guesthouse

Day 06: First Day of Parikrama – Drive to Darchen (4650m) & Trek to Dirapuk (4880m) – Overnight in Dirapuk

  • After breakfast, drive to Darchen (35 km – 1 hour) and visit Yama Dwar, the starting point of the Kailash Kora.
  • Begin your trek from Yama Dwar to Dirapuk (12 km trek – 5 to 7 hours).
  • For those not participating in the Parikrama, you will return to Darchen and wait for the rest of the group.
  • Meals: Breakfast at Manasarovar, Packed Lunch, and Dinner
  • Accommodation: Guesthouse along the route or a dormitory guesthouse in Darchen
    Note: If not doing the Parikrama, you’ll be waiting in Darchen (4650m).

Day 07: Second Day of Parikrama – Trek to Zuthulphuk (4670m) via Dolma La Pass (5700m)

  • 7:00 AM: Start the trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass (5700m) and proceed to Zuthulphuk (22 km trek – 8 to 9 hours).
  • The trek begins with a 2-hour ascent to Dolma La Pass. Along the way, pass Yamasthal and Shiva-sthal before reaching the pass.
  • After Dolma La Pass, descend for an hour before the trail straightens out for 2 to 3 hours until you reach Zuthulphuk.
  • Along the descent, you will see Gauri Kunda, the Pond of Goddess Parvati.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, and Dinner
  • Accommodation: Guesthouse
    Note: If not doing the Parikrama, you’ll still be waiting in Darchen.

Day 08: Third Day of Parikrama – Trek to Darchen & Drive to Hilsa via Taklakot – Overnight in Hilsa/Simikot

  • After breakfast, embark on a short and easy trek (8 km – 3 hours) to the pick-up point for your private A/C coach.
  • Drive back to Darchen (3 km) to rejoin the group.
  • Continue your drive to Hilsa (122 km – 4 to 5 hours, including immigration and customs checks).
  • Depending on the situation, we may take a helicopter to Simikot.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Accommodation: Mansarovar Guesthouse or a similar option

Day 09: Fly from Simikot to Nepalgunj & Transfer to Lucknow

  • Fly from Simikot to Nepalgunj, then continue the journey back to Lucknow.
  • Meals: Breakfast at Simikot
 

WHAT'S INCLUDED

    • 1 night at a 3-star hotel in Nepalgunj (Hotel Sneha or similar) on a twin-sharing basis.• 1 night at New Potala Palace or a similar hotel in Simikot on a sharing basis.
    • 2 nights at Hotel Himalaya, New Purang, or a similar hotel in Taklakot on a triple-sharing basis.
    • Accommodation at guesthouses in Mansarovar, Dirapuk, and Zuthulphuk on a sharing basis (1 night at each location), with common Tibetan-style toilets.
    • 1 night at Mansarovar Guesthouse or a similar hotel in Hilsa on a sharing basis.
    • Group transportation from Lucknow to Nepalgunj and back.
    • Air ticket from Nepalgunj to Simikot and back (fixed-wing aircraft, either Twin Otter or Dornier).
    • Helicopter flight from Simikot to Hilsa and back (only 5 persons can be carried at a time).
    • All vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the trip.
    • Transportation in Tibet provided by a luxury A/C coach.
    • A supporting truck to carry equipment.
    • English-speaking Tibetan guide for the journey.
    • All necessary travel and trekking permits as per the itinerary.
    • Supporting crew members (cooks, helpers, and sherpas).

WHAT'S EXCLUDED

  • Travel insurance, rescue, and evacuation services.
  • Horse and porter services during the Parikrama (approx. 4500 Chinese Yuan).
  • Tips for staff and personal expenses.
  • Additional accommodation costs in Kathmandu, Nepalgunj, Simikot, and Hilsa if flights are delayed or canceled due to weather or permit/visa issues. (Please ensure your air ticket is flexible to accommodate date changes).
  • Penalty fees: If a pilgrim leaves the group early on the Tibet side for reasons other than health-related issues, a penalty of USD 100 per person per day will apply, along with any additional charges for visa splitting, accommodation, and transportation as per the Tibet Tourism Bureau (TAR FEC).
  • Any additional costs arising from natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances.
  • 5% GST and 5% TCS charges for bank deposits made to our Indian bank account.
